Hallo ihr Lieben, dem Einen oder der Anderen ist sie vielleicht schon ein Begriff - ich habe sie erst vor ein paar Wochen in den Untiefen YouTube's entdeckt:

Eine, wie ich finde faszinierende Künstlerin, die schon seit vielen Jahren mit unterschiedlichen Projekten/Künstlern und unter verschiedenen Namen Musik veröffentlicht hat.

Ihre Musik enthält viele popmusikalische Einflüsse/Zitate, die sie meiner Meinung nach gekonnt in ihre eigene Klangwelt einwebt - ganz ähnlich wie David Bowie.

Sie fliegt noch unterhalb des Mainstream-Radars - das finde ich spannend, mal sehen, wo die Reise noch hingeht. In einem Interview hat sie u.a. David Sylvian und Japan als Inspiration erwähnt.

Ihr aktuelles Album (Desire, I Want to Turn Into You) ist richtig top produziert und zurzeit ist sie damit auf Tour.

Das hier geht gerade in den USA durch die Decke:

Bis gestern hatte der Song über 9 Mio Clicks im Web...  + ist seit letztem Mittwoch online.

Der Rolling Stone ätzt mit buzzword "Right Wing".. bah pfui.

Aber eigentlich ist das Lied doch sehr links+ wär vor 55 Jahren ein linker Protestsong gewesen...

This song makes me cry almost every time.  The “young men are putting themselves six feet in the ground” line is incredible.

I'm a 50+ year old Mississippi born and raised black woman who has lived in  many states and now in Florida. I just want to thank
God for using this young man to bring together and give hope to, not only the diverse people of the USA, but people all over the
world. It's all our rallying cry to the globalists that the people are now wide awake and will not allow them to further enslave us.

I love this song! It doesn't divide us, this brings us together because we all feel it.

This is one of those songs that isn't just an anthem for america. This is a world shaking anthem. This one of those gems in the rough
that has caused more people to come together instead of dividing us. The amount of passion he shows as he belts his heart out
grasps everyone's attention as nothing else in the music media today shows this level of emotion. But above all this is a song that
everyone can relate to. We're all in the same boat here in america and we're the only one's that can fix this and come together as
americans. Screw being divided. We need to work together to fix what is wrong in our own country and our own lives.
